Словно местные жители….
И вот уже мы чувствуем себя местными жителями в Олтенице – все кажется давно знакомым, как будто мы провели здесь не 5 недель, а несколько лет. Олтеница представляется мне городом контрастов. Здесь можно встретить и очень бедные дома, и настоящие особняки, дворцы. В то же самое время, погода в Румынии чрезвычайно капризна, в течение дня возможен быстрый переход от испепеляющей жары к затяжному ливню и сильному ветру. Мы готовимся к летней жаре, местные жители уверяют, что температура воздуха может подняться до +40!!!!Мне, северному человеку, придется нелегко!
Несколько острых проблем города сразу бросаются в глаза. Как говорят сами местные жители – это, прежде всего, плохие дороги, покрытые ямами. Кроме того, это скопления бездомных собак, которые вызывают опасение по вечерам. На улице много маленьких детей, и непонятно, как родители не поднимают тревогу и не требуют от властей позаботиться о собственной безопасности. В городе отсутствует специальный питомник для бездомных животных, и хотелось бы, чтобы новый мэр города занялся решением этого вопроса.
Вот этого щенка мы нашли на дороге. Наконец-то, сегодня, нашелся хозяин для Мишки!
Повсюду много людей курят, и это сразу же бросается в глаза. В ресторанах нет отдельных зон для курящих и некурящих, что, естественно, вызывает негодование!
Цыгане и цыганская культура являются неотъемлемой частью Румынии, и что лучше понять этот народ, мы отправились на International Romani Art Festival в Gradina Uranus в Бухаресте и посмотрели выступления dj Vasile, Vojasa, Antwerp Gipsy Ska Orkestra, dj Jahlovo. Приятная атмосфера, зажигательные исполнители, встреча с другими ИВС волонтерами, яркая музыка, танцы до упаду – вот впечатления от этого вечера!
12 июня в Dunare.EDU мы праздновали День России. Этот день ежегодно празднуется в России с 1992 года, в день принятия Декларации о государственном суверенитете РСФСР — 12 июня и является важным праздником для каждого россиянина. В программе были мастер-класс по русскому языку, национальная народная и современная музыка, презентация о России и моей республике Карелии. Кроме того, всем гостям была предложена викторина об истории, культуре и традициях России. Незабываемый вечер! Безусловно, это только начало наших мероприятий, посвященных России, еe культуре и обычаям.
Like local citizens….
And now we are feeling almost like locals here in Oltenita-everything seems to be so familiar and well-known, as if we have spent here not 5 weeks, but several years. Oltenita seems to be a town of contrasts. You can see everything here both very poor houses and really luxurious ones, almost little castles, old and brand-new cars. At the same time, the weather in Romania is very capricious, during a day an incinerating heat can turn into a steady downpour and a strong wind. We are getting ready for summer heat and local people are sure that the temperature can reach +40 soon! For sure, for me (as a person from the North of Russia) it is going to be a hard period!
Some acute problems in the town can be noticed straight away. As local people say, the first one is BAD ROADS covered with holes. Besides, the obvious problem is crowds of stray dogs everywhere in the town, which look and sound very dangerous in the evenings. There are many little children outside and for me it is really bizarre that parents do not call an alert and do not demand from the authorities to take measures. The town doesn’t have a special stray animal nursery and the new mayor should really be concerned about this issue. Please look at the picture of our new friend. We saw this puppy alone on the road. Finally, today we found the master for him!
Another problem is smoking everywhere. Unfortunately, in the restaurants there are no separate smoking and non-smoking zones which is just unacceptable.
Gypsy people and gypsy culture are an indispensable part of Romania. To learn more about it we went to International Romani Art Festival in Gradina Uranus in Bucharest and watched the performances of dj Vasile, Vojasa, Antwerp Gipsy Ska Orkestra, dj Jahlovo. Nice atmosphere, stirring singers, meeting other EVS volunteers, bright music, crazy dances- we have only positive impressions of the evening.
On June 12 we celebrated the Day of Russia at our NGO Dunare.EDU.
This day has been celebrated every year in Russia since 1992, the day of the Declaration of State Sovereignty of the RSFSR – 12 June and now it is an important holiday for every Russian. We prepared a master class on the Russian language, the national folk and contemporary music, the presentation about Russia and about my republic Karelia.
In addition, all guests were offered a quiz about the history, culture and traditions of Russia. An unforgettable evening! Of course, this is only the beginning of our events about Russia, its culture and customs and you all are welcome to join and participate!
